Raigarh : Three Panchayat Secretaries Suspended Over PM Awas Yojana Negligence

PMAY Implementation Raigarh : In a stern administrative action, three Panchayat secretaries in Raigarh district have been suspended for negligence in implementing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

The decision was taken by Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat, Mr. Jitendra Yadav, following reports of delays and indifference in executing housing works under the scheme.

The suspended officials include (Raigarh)

Rajesh Sarathi – Secretary, Gram Panchayat Ghaghra

Kamleshwar Rathiya – Secretary, Gram Panchayat Bargad

Madhuri Sidhar – Secretary, Gram Panchayat Sooti

CEO Mr. Yadav emphasized that PM Awas Yojana is a flagship housing scheme of the government aimed at providing homes to the economically weaker sections. Any form of negligence or laxity will not be tolerated.

He directed all officials and employees under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department to discharge their duties responsibly and ensure eligible beneficiaries receive timely assistance. He also instructed regular field inspections, monitoring of construction quality and progress, and completion of works within the stipulated time frame.
