Mukhyamantri School Jatan Yojana : The schools are improving with the Chief Minister’s School Conservation Scheme.

Chhattisgarh News : The Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s (Mukhyamantri School Jatan Yojana) special initiative has expedited the repair and renovation work of government schools, hostels, and ashram shalas in the state. So far, the repair work of 1918 schools has been completed, while the renovation and paint work of 13,495 buildings is being carried out swiftly. This work of renovating schools, hostels, and ashram shalas is being done under the “Chief Minister’s School Conservation Scheme.” For this, an administrative approval of ₹2,033 crores has already been issued.

It is noteworthy that the Government of Chhattisgarh (Mukhyamantri School Jatan Yojana) is implementing the ‘Chief Minister School Rejuvenation Scheme’ for the necessary repairs and infrastructure development of educational institutions such as schools, hostels, and ashrams in the state. The objective of this scheme is to renovate and upgrade school buildings and hostels. Additionally, if any building has become dilapidated and useless, it will be demolished and necessary additional rooms will be constructed as required.

Under the Chief Minister’s School Development Scheme, a total of 27,514 projects have been approved for the maintenance, repair, and renovation of school buildings and hostels in the state. The cost of these projects is 2033 crore rupees, and work is currently being done to improve 26,388 schools in Chhattisgarh.

According to information received from the Department of Education, district collectors have so far issued administrative approvals for 26,388 construction projects. Among them, 1,918 projects have been completed and 13,495 projects are in progress. The schools, ashramshalas, and hostels where repair work has been completed are now visible in their new form, providing children with better learning environments.
