The JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) started in the traditional, offline pen-and-paper mode. The approach was later modified — questions were printed and answered in a booklet that was checked manually. This approach was manageable given the small number of applicants. Over time, the increase in the numbers of applicants, seats, and IITs became some of the reasons that led to JEE becoming a two-step examination.
Ridhi Kamlesh Kumar Maheshwari secured 100 percentile in JEE Main 2023, the result of which was released last month. Maheshwari tells us how she secured a 100 percentile and what is her JEE Advanced 2023 preparation strategy.
“For JEE Main, I would study at home for nearly 5 to 6 hours either before or after classes. I would wake up around 6:30 am and study from 7 am. My classes would begin at 3:30 pm and go on till 8:30 pm. After classes, if I would feel fresh I would study else I would sleep,” the topper shares.
